    Sewing Green Cover Choices--The Runner-Ups

When we were working on the cover for Sewing Green by Betz White, we seriously considered two covers: the one we chose and the one of the sewer at the table below. Although I feel sure that we made a good choice, I do miss seeing this pretty image since it didn't make it onto the cover or into the book.

This one wasn't a serious contender but it is also nice to revsit.

To see the final cover and some pages from the interior, click on the book cover at right (under "Look Inside Our Books"). Or, to see the cover and a sampling of images from the book, click here.

The photos are inspirational! I would love my sewing room to look more like that first photo. Beautiful stuff--I have been on the lookout for a good wrap skirt pattern to make for summer, and I really like that one in the photo!

    Hey there !

I think both covers are awesome, though I should say the second one represents environnment better, with the grass, green ect...
Do you know by any chance if we can find it in Europe some day ???

    Aline,
If you tell me where in Europe live, I can find out if any retailers stock it there.

i love seeing the creative process you go through and the different beautiful covers that could have been !

I actually bought this book because the beautiful and leafy scarf jumped off the "final" book cover and screamed "you must have this". How could I resist. It's quite interesting to see the alternative choices.
